[edit] How to navigate the Mapas Project Wiki

The Mapas Project Wiki pages are intended to facilitate team member communication regarding imaging methods, DRE use, drafts of written material, etc. You can navigate to the various areas from the Wiki's Main Page. Therefore, if you get lost, go back to main page. Each Wiki page has a contents box that you can choose to hide or show. The content boxes show designated topic headings. Click on what you are interested in reading or editing.

[edit] How to add to the Wiki

[edit] Editing

[edit] New content, page, etc.

How do I add a new page to the Wiki? There are two ways to make a new page:

  1. By searching for the name of the page you would like to create (using an underscore, "_" between words translates into a space when the page title is viewed) and then clicking "create this page" on the "page does not exist" screen.
  2. The other way is to create an internal link to the new page. Internal links use the double brackets and a "|" separating the link and the words:
    1. Decide on a name for the page. For example, DRE Help. Click "edit" on the page where you would like the link inserted and, in this case, use this code
[[DRE_Help | Click here for DRE help]]
    2. This will make a link to the page "DRE Help"
    3. If the page has not yet been created its link will look red upon saving. Just click the link to start editing to create the page.
    4. Upon saving, all links to the page will turn blue since the page is now in the database.
